The first meeting is intended to provide an arena for members to mingle and become familiar with each other’s business interests. At this time, there is no cost for membership and all who are interested in attending are welcome. If you plan on attending, please contact Scott Randall so that he can arrange for the appropriate materials and space.

This meeting is expected to last about 90 minutes and the agenda will be as follows:
- BBW goals
- Introductions
- An inventory of resources
- The components of a marketing plan
- Round table discussion of future topics
- A real time marketing success story

April's Woodturner's project challenge was to create a weed pot - a vase shape with a 1/2" to 3/4" hole down the center used to display dry floral arrangements. Read More to see the pictures.

Spring Sale Tool Blitz May 15, 16 & 17 2008.

The meeting topic for the April meeting will be refacing a cabinet with veneer using hide glue and an iron.

For the March meeting, the Leigh Jig presentation will pick up right where it so abruptly ended (because of the power outage at the school). Please bring any projects that you may have to share with the rest of the group.

This is the first meeting of the Woodturners Group. The group is being formed as a subgroup of the CMWA and will meet at Gary Mrozek's shop. All are welcome. Its goal is to provide woodtruners of all skill levels an opportunity to share knowledge and resources.

Our friends at Acme Tool invited us to stop by their booths at this years Woodworking Show at St. Paul's River Centre on February 29 - March 2, 2008 and take a look at the many great deals they will have available only during the show.
